A speech delivered by the senior prefect of FORWARD MODEL SCHOOL the person of OJUBANIRE DORCAS AANUOLUWAPO on 1st of October 2021 at the valendatory service

OJUBANIRE DORCAS

OJUBANIRE DORCAS

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, Governing Body, parents, teachers and fellow Valedictorians.

It is with a sense of nostalgia and pride that I present this farewell speech on behalf of the class of 2021.

My name is OJUBANIRE DORCAS A of this NOBLE SCHOOL (FORWRD MODEL SCHOOL)On our journey together as a group, we shared many moments of uncertainty, anxiety, fun and laughter. All Priceless memories! Thank you matrics for making my schooling career so much fun. We started out as total strangers and ended up as friends. We shared a season of our lives, but every season has to end. Nonetheless, with each season that ends, another is ushered in. And today we are standing at the edge of a cliff with a sea of possibilities below us.

All that is required is a leap of faith to experience the exhilaration of choosing our own destiny. Yes, as we dive into our future, we will meet many fish in this sea called life. Some will be friendly like Adesina Alimat social prefect  of our time, ENITILO IFEOLUWA our able chapel prefect ABIOLA ROSELINE HEALTH PREFECT and others. There’ll be times when we feel as if we are drowning in a world that doesn’t provide the same security that we enjoyed here at FORWARD MODEL SCHOOL At times like this, I suggest you float on your back, chill your guava and look to the sky, for that is where your help will come from. Never forget your value and never allow anyone to treat you with less respect than you deserve. Make the best of every situation and remember that the grass is greener there where you water it most.So pour all your positivity and energy into every moment of your life and you will soon have a garden of great memories and achievements. I wish you all the best for the upcoming finals. May you reap the rewards of all the hard work you put in. And may you live a life that you will be proud of one day. Thank you MASTER ASIYANBOLA DANIEL OLUMIDE for keeping us together and making sure that we always pull in the same direction. Thank you MRS AMOLOJA GRACE our able PROPRIETRESS for your guidance. Thank you to the teachers for your hard work and being our role models. Thank you to the Members of FORWARD MODEL PRESS CLUB (FMPC)FORWARD MODEL ANGELIC SINGER (FMAS) for your support, cooperation friendship and friendliness. Thank you master ADEKOLA, my profound gratitude also goes to Mrs AWOSIYAN TAIWOMRS OMISAKIN TAIWO words cannot describe how much you’ve helped me this year. Having a best friend as a deputy truly has its benefits Thanks you OWOJORI MORONKE ELIZABETH. Thank you prefects! I had so much fun working with you. I think I may have shed more tears from laughing this year than I have ever before. Thank you for working so diligently and without me having to constantly check up on you. Thank you mom and dad. Parenting is not easy, but you seem to have mastered it without too much effort. I love you more than you’ll ever know. And thank you to God for blessing me with so much, much more than I deserve.I’d like to read the tribute we as the matrics wrote to the school earlier this year:This is our ode, our ode to you. As our time draws near, we reminisce and reflect, on all your efforts, tough love and patience. To our teachers, for the lessons and encouragement. To our peers, for their friendship and learnt mistakes. To each other, for those happy moments and imperfections, that molded us into the ladies and gentle men we are today. So, to you, we will forever be grateful. Thank you. This is our ode, our ode to you. And lastly this is my tribute to you matrics:May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again- may God hold you in the palm of His hands.I thank you.

A Seminal speech delivered by Akinbola Oluwamodupe Deborah Tittled : Hard working

Seminal Topic: Hard working

By : Akinbola Oluwamodupe Deborah

Hard work is an essential thing we all need in life. It is impossible to achieve greatness without working hard. In other words, an idle person cannot gain anything if they wish to sit and wait for something else. On the other hand, one who keeps working hard constantly will definitely gain success in life and this is exactly what essay on hard work will elaborate upon.

Importance of Hard Work

Hard work is important and history has proved it time and again. The great

Edison used to work for many hours a day and he dozed off on his laboratory table only with his books as his pillow.

Similarly, the prime minister of India, late Pt. Nehru used to work for 17 hours a day and seven days a week. He did not enjoy any holidays. Our great leader, Mahatma Gandhi worked round the clock to win freedom for our country.

Thus, we see that hard work paid off for all these people. One must be constantly vigil to work hard as it can help you achieve your dreams. As we say, man is born to work. Just like steel, he shines in use and rusts in rest.

When we work hard in life, we can achieve anything and overcome any obstacle. Moreover, we can also lead a better life knowing that we have put in our all and given our best to whatever work we are doing.

Key to Success

Hard work is definitely the key to success. What we earn by sweating our brow gives us greater happiness than something we get by a stroke of luck. As humans, we wish to achieve many things in life.

These things need hard work to be able to come true. Poverty is not the curse but idealness is. When we waste our time, time will also waste us. Hard work can help anyone achieve success. Great people were born in cottages but died in palaces.

Thus, it shows how through great work one can get the key to success. When you start working hard, you will notice changes in your life. You will become more disciplined and focused on your work.

Moreover, you will start seeing results within a short time. It is nothing but proof that when you work hard, things like determination, focus, concentration, come automatically to you. As a result, nothing will stop you from achieving success .

Success is not just someone being famous and rich in life. When you work hard and lead a comfortable life filled with love that is also a success. Hard work must not limit to work but also your personal life. When you put in hard work in work and relationships, life will prosper.

Conclusion of the Essay on Hard Work

If we get the determination and focus, we can all work hard for a better future. It is important to concentrate as it ensures our work is finishing on time and in a better manner. Therefore, by working hard, we can increase our concentration power and open doors to new opportunities.

Thanks for been listening
